Gregg Janes
Vice President,

In June 2005, Gregg accepted a position with Financial Profiles to head three key departments: Business Analysis, Training, and Planning Support. In this leadership role he was able to apply his nearly 20 years of experience in the industry to the task of designing and supporting industry-leading financial planning software and services.
He has since been appointed EISI's Vice President, Product Management, Planning. Gregg's promotion was motivated by his outstanding work on the retirement distribution planning functionality in Profiles Professional version 8.0. In his new role, Gregg's creativity and vision continues to guide the future of the Profiles product line, and he is a key contributor to the design of EISI's Advice Management Platform.
Gregg started his career in the financial services industry in 1987 after nine years as an electronics and computer specialist. He worked for a number of years as both a fee-based and commission-based financial planner, winning several awards. Gregg then accepted a position with a major insurance company in New York where he was the leading developer of marketing, planning, and sales programs. In 1997, Gregg took a position as the Vice President of Development for Kettley Publishing Company (a leading provider of point-of-sale and consumer education tools to financial services companies and financial advisors) where he served on the Executive Team and helped the company design, launch, and maintain a variety of needs-analysis software products and a Web services financial planning library.
Gregg has received the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) from the American College.
