Dr. Mark Evans wins Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award

At the Ernst & Young Prairies Gala Awards Banquet held Thursday, October 9th in Calgary, Dr. Mark Evans won Entrepreneur of the Year (EOY) in the Information Technology category. The prestigious EOY awards honour entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, personal commitment to their businesses, and communication.

Dr. Mark Evans established EISI in 1990 and, as President and CEO, he guides the company’s strategic initiatives, including development of the NaviPlan product line.

Under Dr. Evans’ leadership, EISI has grown from a small business to a market-leading software company with a client list that includes many of the largest financial services institutions in North America. With 13 years at the helm of EISI, Dr. Evans continues to successfully manage tremendous growth in a very dynamic market.
