Recognizing outstanding entrepreneurs who are the driving force of our economy, Ernst & Young LLP, a global leader in professional services, honoured EISI-NaviPlan at the Ernst & Young 2003 Prairie Entrepreneur of the Year awards ceremony with the top prize in the Information Technology category.
EISI President & CEO Dr. Mark Evans was in Calgary, Alberta on October 9th to accept the award for his company.
According to the Winnipeg Free Press: "Mark Evans has created software that is 'state of the art' in his field."
Four Manitoba companies won top awards, "marking the first time Manitoba has won half of the eight categories," the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
The Prairie Entrepreneur Of The Year award went to Bee-Clean Building Maintenance Inc., a Manitoba-based company that employs more than 5,000 people across Canada and cleans more than 90 million square feet of building space each day.
