For immediate release

Winnipeg, MB, Canada (September 14, 2006): Emerging Information Systems Inc. (EISI), developer of NaviPlan and Profiles+ financial planning software, today announced several changes to its executive team that stem from its recent Financial Profiles acquisition and continued commitment to customer service.

New to the team are Keith Washington, who serves as General Manager of the new Financial Profiles division in Carlsbad, Calif., and Ken Harper, who is appointed Senior Vice-President of Relationship Management at EISI.

Internal appointments to new executive team roles at EISI include Kelly Brown to Senior-Vice President of Strategic Business Development and Dale Lacombe to Senior Vice-President of Sales Operations.

"Our leadership position as the largest financial planning and advice software company in North America demands that we set the standard for exceptional products and customer service," said Dr. Mark Evans, President and CEO of EISI. "Our newly expanded executive team will help us do just that."

Washington previously served as Vice-President of Client Services at Financial Profiles, Inc. He is now responsible for directing the product vision as well as business and operational requirements for the Profiles+ product line. He brings 17 years of experience as a Vice-President and Product Manager in the financial software industry, and has extensive experience leading both desktop and Internet product launches. Before joining Financial Profiles, Washington was a Product Director at Intuit, responsible for product strategy, marketing and public relations for the leading tax software for consumers and professionals.

Harper joins EISI's executive team from Morgan Stanley, a global financial services firm with $625 billion in assets under management. As Senior Vice-President of Relationship Management based in New Jersey, Harper collaborates with clients across both the NaviPlan and Profiles+ product lines to help firms fully leverage their technology investments and achieve business objectives. At Morgan Stanley, he was Vice-President and Director of Product Development in Financial Planning, responsible for all implementations of financial planning software and tools for approximately 9,000 financial advisors. Previously, he held several senior roles at Merrill Lynch, one of the world's leading financial management and advisory companies.

Both Brown and Lacombe have extensive backgrounds in software sales management in North American markets and are responsible for fully leveraging EISI's dominant market position to increase sales and market share. Lacombe oversees a team of 17 sales professionals, located in Winnipeg, Carlsbad, Toronto, Boston, and the greater New York metropolitan area.

As part of the recent acquisition, former Financial Profiles Inc. President and CEO Jim McClafferty and Senior Vice-President of Operations and Finance Cliff Flowers will now act in short-term consulting roles to ensure smooth transitions of their executive duties.
