EISI Rolls Out New Versions of Profiles and NaviPlan Software
Focus on Helping Advisors Build Stronger Client Relationships
Winnipeg, MB, Canada, July 9, 2008 -- Emerging Information Systems Inc. (EISI), developer of NaviPlan and Profiles financial planning software, today announced software upgrades for both product suites. New versions of Profiles Professional and Profiles Forecaster are scheduled for release in mid-July 2008. The NaviPlan Standard upgrade is now available.
Profiles Professional Helps Advisors Fill the Retirement Planning Gap
New retirement scenario features in Profiles Professional v9.0 quickly explore ways to achieve a client’s retirement accumulation and distribution goals. Advisors can easily run What-if scenarios on retirement needs, portfolio reallocations, plan contributions, and various other strategies, and then compare results with the current plan. Scenario results, which can be included in a variety of new client reports, include easy-to-understand graphics and comparison tables. Other highlights of the Profiles Professional v9.0 upgrade include faster, easier management of client files and cases; qualified plan contribution limits; and intuitive design changes.

In Profiles Forecaster v4.0, new Social Security features enable advisors to tailor presentations to each client by overriding system-calculated defaults. Other highlights of this upgrade include a streamlined client file and case management process.
In addition to financial planning and usability enhancements in Profiles software, EISI added advice management features for enterprise clients, including collaboration and workflow capabilities. The new features enable firms to effectively monitor financial planning activity by sharing files across the organization, incorporating custom business rules, and automating the plan-review process.
Progress Reporting in NaviPlan Standard Facilitates Rewarding Client Meetings
New progress reporting capabilities in NaviPlan Standard v11.2 facilitate quick plan updates with reports that illustrate whether a client is on track to meet their goals. Using the Update Plan feature, advisors can make any necessary changes to incomes, expenses, and current market value of assets. The changes can be provided by clients prior to the meeting in a simple fact finder, and then entered in NaviPlan Standard. At the meeting, advisors present a client-friendly Progress Report, which uses text and graphics to show year-over-year changes, compare outcomes, and flag opportunities.

Advisors who regularly meet with clients to revisit goals and review progress are rewarded with long-term relationships, greater share of wallet, and more referrals,” says Evans. The progress reporting features in NaviPlan Standard v11.2 are currently available in the Web-based format, NaviPlan Central. Other highlights of this software release, available in both the Web-based and Offline formats, include an upgrade to an Ibbotson Associates 12-asset-class model; a cash flow deficit/surplus indicator in all goal scenarios; and account transfer and redemption strategies within retirement and education goal scenarios.
