EISI Set to Launch New Financial Planning Program in Canada

In August 2008, EISI will launch an exciting financial planning program for Canadian advisors: NaviPlan Standard Offline.

NaviPlan Standard Offline represents a significant software advancement in the Canadian financial services market. It is a new, easy-to-use tool that accelerates the planning process and helps advisors build more profitable client relationships. For existing users of the NaviPlan Standard Windows-based tool, it’s a major upgrade to a browser-based user interface. For advisors in the market for a cutting-edge planning tool, it’s an exciting new program that boasts slicker planning capabilities and graphics than any other product in Canada.

This new product launch sets the stage for more exciting enhancements for both NaviPlan Extended and NaviPlan Standard users in 2009.

New in NaviPlan Standard Offline

• Easy-to-use planning levels –To better address each client case, NaviPlan Standard Offline enables advisors to select the level of detail that will best address each client’s needs as efficiently as possible. A client engagement tool, called the Financial Assessment (CRC), and a standalone Asset Allocation pre-planning level can easily be promoted to either of two planning levels that offer increased detail.
• More intuitive navigation elements – Advisors can create a client, enter, and edit data faster than ever. Based on a usability study commissioned by EISI; NaviPlan Standard Offline introduces users to a browser-based user interface that features new menus, navigation bars, re-organized screens, anywhere-access to reports, and a Client Creation wizard. Data entry requirements have been dramatically reduced through the use of drill-down data-entry, more drop-down menus, collapsible sections, and fewer fields.
• New Scenarios page – NaviPlan Standard Offline includes a Scenarios page that allows advisors to quickly create multiple ‘What-if’ scenarios, and compare them side-by-side.
• Dozens of upgrades – Among the exciting new features and enhancements in NaviPlan Standard Offline are: alerts; new reports, including the Financial Needs Summary report; new calculators, including Retirement Need / Expense calculator; and existing calculators have a new look.

A conversion tool enables files created in NaviPlan Standard Windows-based software to be migrated to the browser-based NaviPlan Standard Offline.
